LEVEL: Beginners – Intermediate

Have you always wanted to make your own meditation tracks?

Are you afraid of the sound of your own voice?

Are you clueless about the editing process?

Are you worried about how to get ideas?

Would you like to sell your own audio tracks and make a passive income?

Are you a complete beginner?

Or do you have some knowledge but need a bit of guidance?

If you find yourself saying yes to all of the above, then come to Ann Théato’s CLASS!

Audio is one of the most flexible places to tell stories – you can go anywhere, make anything, build whatever universe you wish.

On completion of this workshop, you will begin to understand the power of writing for sound.  You will have the ability to use written words and sound effects with clarity and precision, to create an authentic environment, instantly engage your listeners’ emotions and keep your audience spellbound.

You will be encouraged to silence your inner critic by warmly embracing “exuberant imperfection” in order to reveal your own scriptwriting magnificence.  EXUBERANT IMPERFECTION is a psychological sleight of hand, that helps you tolerate the drivel that greases the wheels of genius!

In this workshop you will be encouraged to be as creative as possible, and you will initially be set tasks outside of writing a structured meditation track, so that you can learn how the medium of radio drama works.  We will of course, move towards creating a meditation track in day two.

By the end of the workshop, you will understand what writing for audio means, the different types of writing for audio, why it works so well as a medium, and how to bring an idea to life.

What does writing for audio entail?

How do you paint a picture in the mind of the listener?

How do you use sound effects & where do you get them from?

Come to Ann Théato’s CLASS and find out!

NOTE: We will be using GARAGEBAND to edit your audio tracks

Both classes will be recorded so that you will be able to reference all you have learned.

Yes you can pay for the class and get the download, even if you can’t attend in person!
