MEDITATE ON THE PATTERN OF A LEAF
Pick a leaf and allow your eyes to rest on the overall pattern. Allow the shapes, lines and colours to penetrate your unconscious. Become aware that the image is both in front of you and inside your mind. -
MEDITATE ON THE FACE OF YOUR WATCH
As you gaze at your watch, fill your consciousness with nothing but the circle of the face. As you do so you will notice that the second hand seems to come to a stop. It is as if you have entered a realm that is free from the constraints of time and space. -
THE EMPTY VESSEL
Visualise an empty tea cup. Both its form and the space it contains within itself are crucial to its function as a carrier for liquid. As you hold the teacup in your mind, keep these two elements in balance with each other. -
TURN WATER INTO LIGHT
Sit quietly in your meditation space, eyes closed, attending only to the breath. You sense a mysterious figure approaching you carrying an urn full of water. With a cupped hand they lift some water from the urn and pour it over your head. As the water splashes over your head it transforms into light, suffusing you with peace and renewed energy. -
SEND SUPPORT
Think of one friend who needs support at this time. Become aware of a beautiful light inside your heart. Give this light the colour of your choice and imagine that colour expanding to fill your heart, fill your body, fill the room… send the light out towards your friend and bathe them in the love and care that travels directly from your heart to theirs. -
HEALING LIGHT
Visualise a small box filled with coloured balls of light, each with healing qualities. In your mind, open the box and take out the balls, placing each in turn on an area of your body that is tight or tense. Imagine the light melting into your body, relaxing and healing as it does so. -
THIRD EYE
Imagine a point of light in the centre of your forehead, just above your eyes. This is your third eye. Feel the centre of your forehead radiating energy, sparkling and glowing. Place all your attention here. Visualise the energy as a colour and ask for inspiration and guidance.
